AboutI Acted as the third ASM on HMS pinafore. My main responsibilities included taking blocking notes, creating the Who/What/Where, keeping my binder up to date incase of an ASM absence, and acting as a floating ASM backstage during performances.
During this show, all three ASMs got covid at different times during tech and performances, meaning there was always at least one (often two) asmS OUT. My binder was used by the Production Assistant to take over my role, and my clear notations made it easy for that transition to take place.
Who/What/Where made throughout the rehearsal process to track all moving pieces of the show. Was eventually used by the PA and Asst. Director alongside my calling script to do my and another ASMs track during Tech and Shows.
